Patient Profiles

Basic Information

Each patient record contains:

  • Personal Details — Name (Arabic + English), DOB, gender, national ID
  • Contact — Phone, email, address
  • Emergency Contact — Name, relation, phone
  • Insurance — Provider, policy number, coverage details

Arabic Name Support

For Egyptian patients, we support:

  • Full name in Arabic script
  • Full name in English/Latin script
  • Automatic search in both languages
💡Search works with Arabic diacritics normalization — searching "احŲ…د" finds "ØŖØ­Ų…د"!

National ID Validation

Egyptian 14-digit national ID numbers:

  • Validated for correct format
  • Auto-extracts: birth date, gender, governorate
  • Prevents duplicate patient entries

Visit History

Recording a Visit

When a patient is seen:

  • Click New Visit or select from queue
  • Fill in visit details:
    • - Chief complaint - Symptoms - Examination findings - Diagnosis (ICD-10 supported) - Treatment plan - Prescriptions

    Visit Timeline

    View all visits chronologically:

    • Date and doctor
    • Chief complaint summary
    • Diagnoses made
    • Follow-up status

    Medical Images

    Uploading Images

    Upload medical images from:

    • Computer/laptop files
    • Mobile camera (direct capture)
    • Scanner integration
    Supported formats: JPG, PNG, PDF, DICOM

    Image Features

    • Annotation — draw on images, add markers and notes
    • Comparison — side-by-side view of images over time
    • Zoom — high-resolution viewing
    • Categories — organize by type (X-ray, lab, photo, etc.)

    AI Data Extraction (Growth+)

    Upload prescriptions, lab results, or ID cards:

  • Upload the image
  • Click Extract Data
  • AI reads text and fills in fields:
    • - Lab values with units - Medication names and dosages - Patient demographics from ID

    Prescriptions

    Creating Prescriptions

  • In a visit, click Add Prescription
  • Search drug database:
    • - Egyptian commercial names (e.g., Panadol, Augmentin) - Generic names (e.g., Paracetamol, Amoxicillin)
  • Set dosage, frequency, duration
  • Add instructions (with food, avoid sun, etc.)

    • Prescription Templates

    Save common combinations as templates:

    • "Common Cold Protocol" — 3-4 drugs
    • "UTI Treatment" — antibiotics + analgesics
    • Doctor-specific favorites

    Printing & Sending

    • Print — A5 prescription pad format
    • PDF — email or share digitally
    • Chefaa — send to pharmacy network (integration required)

    Lab Results

    Recording Results

    Enter lab values with:

    • Test name (from standard catalog)
    • Result value and unit
    • Reference range
    • Flag (normal, high, low, critical)

    For repeated tests (e.g., HbA1c for diabetics):

    • View trend chart across visits
    • See improvement or decline
    • Auto-flag sudden changes

    Vitals Tracking

    Standard Vitals

    Record at each visit:

    • Blood pressure (systolic/diastolic)
    • Heart rate (BPM)
    • Temperature (°C)
    • Respiratory rate
    • SpO2 (oxygen saturation)
    • Weight and height
    • BMI (auto-calculated)

    Age-Adjusted Ranges

    Vitals are flagged based on:

    • Patient age
    • Gender
    • Medical conditions
    Example: Pediatric BP ranges differ from adult.

    Record allergies with:

    • Allergen name
    • Reaction type (mild, moderate, severe)

    Every action is logged:
